Focus Groups

RISE Tribe conducted qualitative research with Gen Z (13-24) in 2023 and Millennials (29-44) in 2025. This research aimed to ensure the RISE brand and programming resonates with and fulfills the needs of the target by co-creating an open, honest space for 13-44 year old Filipinx-Canadians to connect and share ideas, experiences and stories, contextualizing their current and desired relationship with a Filipinx community, including key barriers to engagement, and exploring what types of experiences and offerings the community is interested in.

2021 Community Engagement Strategy marks the first formal CES document that audits RISE Tribe’s progress since its beginnings in 2016. This CES document acknowledges the process of building relationships with community members, stakeholders and interest groups to work side-by-side as long term partners in organization for the welfare of the Filipinx Canadian Community.
